Olive Tapenade

I could very easily get lost in the magic and mayhem of the local markets in small Italian towns.
On a recent trip we picked up some fresh ingredients which we brought home to make a wonderful Olive Tapenade.
The secret to this tapenade is to use only fresh ingredients! 

All you need is a food processor and the following:

– green olives, pitted
– black olives, pitted
– fresh garlic
– anchovie filets (start with one and adapt according to your taste)
– capers
– fresh basil leaves
– a high quality extra virgin olive oil
– my secret ingredient: a dash of dark chocolate or cocoa powder
– a dash of fresh lemon juice

Prepare according to taste in a food processor and serve with freshly home-made bread!
